- The Moldovan Ministry of Culture has banned concerts by three artists from Russia and Ukraine.
On April 10, the Ministry of Culture of Moldova opposed the concerts of artists Diana Arbenina, Oleg Vinnik and Nurlan Saburov.
"The Ministry of Culture considers it inappropriate to hold three events that were to take place in the Republic of Moldova in the coming period with the participation of artists Diana Arbenina, Nurlan Saburov and Oleg Vinnik," the ministry wrote on Facebook (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation).
It is noted that the organizers of the events were warned about the results of the assessment, and also recommended to terminate the contracts. Otherwise, artists may be banned from entering the territory of the republic, and concerts will be canceled.
Svetlana Zakharova, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater, told Izvestia on March 17 that the organizers of her performances in Rome faced unprecedented external and internal pressure. The Prima ballerina also confirmed the cancellation of her performances in the Italian capital on March 20 and 21 and noted that the policy of abolishing Russian culture continues in Europe.
All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
