Currently, the water level above the zero of the Ishim – Ilyinka hydropost is 447 cm. During the day, it grew by 68 cm. The water level at the Ishim – Dolmatovo water post in the Kurgan region is already 692 cm.

The agency writes that the authorities do not rule out flooding, despite the relatively favorable forecasts of experts. They strengthen security measures in advance. This year, a dangerous situation may develop on the territory of Abatsky and Ilyinka. Water levels in the Ishim and Irtysh rivers will rise above normal, and the water level in the Tura River will approach a critical level.

Earlier, on April 8, it was reported that flood waters flooded about 150 household plots in the Kurgan region. In the Open Field, flooding is associated with rising groundwater due to active snowmelt. The depth of flooding was up to 15 cm. Water came to 55 sites. In the Zvenigolovsky district, when the water in the Tobol River rose, five sites were flooded in the village of Breakthrough. A temporary hydro post has been set up.
