Deputy Mayor of Moscow Sergunina spoke about the VDNH program for the opening of the spring-summer season

The spring and summer season at VDNKH, as well as at the Orion amusement park located on the territory of the exhibition, will begin on April 18. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina, noting that the program prepared for the guests includes a performance, science shows, dance performances and other events.

"During the warmer months, VDNH offers many formats of cultural, educational and outdoor activities. These include outdoor workshops, excursions, and sports training," Sergunina said.

On the opening day of the season, a theatrical production dedicated to the exhibition staff will be shown next to the Druzhba Narodov fountain. In the evening of the same day, acrobats, gymnasts and acrobats will perform at Pavilion No. 1 Central.

Science shows, interactive games and quizzes will be held in Orion Park. Before the onset of cold weather, there will be four themed pavilions, including the Fairy Tale Theater and the Circular Cinema Panorama, as well as 17 attractions.

Guided walks are regularly organized at VDNH. Participants are told, for example, about how the complex has changed over the past century, as well as about the architectural features of the pavilions.

Many creative workshops at the Urban Farm will be held outdoors with the onset of warm weather. Children and teenagers will be able to create flower arrangements and try different techniques of painting decorative figures. And the Books pavilion will start holding outdoor drawing classes closer to summer.

Free group classes are often organized for sports enthusiasts. VDNKH also has playgrounds for football, basketball, volleyball, workout and table tennis. Bicycles can be rented at the rental points. A little later, boat stations will open on the Third Kamensky Pond and on the Palace Pond in Ostankino Park.
