According to the schedule, from about 07:00 Moscow time, the number of network failures in the application and the site began to grow rapidly and within three hours almost reached the 100% mark. The number of complaints about the app's operation per day exceeded 4 thousand.

It also follows from the data that in half of the cases users complain about the incorrect operation of the mobile application. Users cite the inability to send and receive messages, as well as problems with downloading multimedia files, as the most common markers of failures.

The Telegram application, an unofficial client of the Telegram messenger, disappeared from the AppStore on April 9. The app developers noted that the blocking could have been triggered by a large number of negative reviews that could have been misinterpreted by the App Store moderation. Currently, Telega intends to send detailed explanations of the problem to the store in order to restore the download of the application.
