The two victims in Kamchatka were identified as Fedor and Sergey.

It is specified that both students were from St. Petersburg Mining University.

The loss of the tour group became known on April 9. According to Sergey Lebedev, Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kamchatka Territory, the tourists quarreled and split up, after which the group of seven people stopped contacting.

Later, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Kamchatka Territory reported that tourists had been hiking in the Nalychevo Nature Park in the Yelizovsky Municipal District since the end of March. Journalist Mikhail Yudaev noted that the helicopter with the injured tourists landed on the closed site of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Ambulance crews arrived at the scene.
