If a pensioner does not come for a pension within six months, payments may be suspended, but this does not apply to cases when deposits are credited to a bank card. This was announced on April 10 by Daniil Bazylev, Managing Partner of Sakura Legal.

"The six-month rule does not apply when the pension is credited to a bank card. The Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation explicitly stated: if the pension is delivered through a bank by crediting it to a pensioner's account, then the fact of its prolonged non—receipt is impossible in principle, since from the moment the money is credited to the account, the pension is considered to have actually been received, regardless of whether the pensioner has performed operations with these funds," Bazylev explained in an interview with the agency "Prime."
