The Moscow City Duma reminded of fines for summer residents for uncut grass
Vladimir Shapkin, Chairman of the Moscow State Duma Committee on Property Relations, Nature Management and Ecology, said on April 10 that in Russia, owners of suburban areas that do not provide a proper view of the land due to weeds and tall grass may be fined up to 10,000 rubles for violating established standards for combating unwanted vegetation.
"There are a large number of summer cottages in the Moscow region, and the owners have responsibilities for their maintenance. In particular, we are talking about areas overgrown with weeds and weeds. The owners should understand that it is prohibited to maintain the site in this form at the legislative level. Thus, violation of the rules for controlling weed plants entails a warning or the imposition of an administrative fine," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
