The difference in pension payments in the Russian regions has reached 23 thousand rubles.

The difference between the highest and lowest average pension in the regions of Russia in February 2026 amounted to over 23 thousand rubles. This follows from an analysis of statistical data provided by TASS on April 10.

According to the Social Fund of Russia, the maximum average pension is fixed in Chukotka. In this region, it amounted to 41,943 rubles. The minimum figure was recorded in Dagestan, where residents received an average of 18,615 rubles. Thus, the gap between the regions reached 23,328 rubles.

The average pension in the country in February 2026 was 25,261 rubles.

On April 9, the Social Fund's press service reported that in Russia, some citizens will receive pensions ahead of schedule for May. As specified in the department, the early payment will affect citizens to whom pensions are transferred through banks. By April 30, the funds will be credited to those who usually receive payments from the 1st to the 4th of the month.
