In the Kulinsky district of Dagestan, dozens of residential buildings, as well as educational and cultural facilities, were damaged as a result of snowmelt. This was reported on April 9 in the press service of the Government of Dagestan.

"In the Kulinsky district, as a result of snowmelt, landslide processes intensified, which caused the roof to collapse and partially destroyed the load-bearing walls of one school, partially damaged seven cultural institutions and several dozen residential buildings," the Telegram channel said.

The educational process in Kuli village has not been suspended. Classes were organized for children in another building of the school.

Special equipment has been sent to the municipality. Work on clearing roads and eliminating the consequences of the disaster continues.

On April 7, the head of the Republic of Dagestan, Sergey Melikov, announced that an emergency regime had been introduced in 11 municipalities that were most affected by the floods in Dagestan. According to him, 842 significant social facilities were affected by the weather.
