In Moscow, scammers forced a schoolgirl to throw family jewelry out the window
In the Khoroshevo-Mnevniki district of Moscow, intruders lured a 14-year-old girl out of family jewelry worth 850 thousand rubles, convincing her that it was necessary to prevent an explosion in her favorite park. This was announced on April 9 by a source of Izvestia.
According to the source, it all started with the fact that an unknown person wrote to the schoolgirl in the messenger. He threatened to set off an explosion and backed up his words with a video recording showing the Ukrainian flag. Then a fake intelligence officer contacted the girl. He introduced himself as an operative and said that in order to "declare" valuables and ensure her safety, she needed to get rid of all the jewelry stored at home.
Succumbing to psychological pressure, the schoolgirl put the jewelry in a pencil case and threw it out of the window. The parcel was picked up by a fraud courier on the street. The police are currently identifying the intruders and looking for witnesses to the incident.
On the same day, a fraudster involved in the theft of 17 million from a student was detained in Moscow. According to the press service of the main directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the capital, the attackers acted according to a common scheme, posing as employees of the bank and public services.
