Axios named the date of the start of negotiations between Israel and Lebanon

Direct negotiations between Israel and Lebanon may begin as early as next week. This was reported by Axios portal journalist Barak Ravid, citing a senior Israeli official.

"Direct negotiations between Israel and Lebanon will begin next week. The first meeting will be held at the State Department in Washington," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to Ravid, the American delegation will be headed by the US Ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa. Israel will be represented at the talks by its Ambassador to Washington, Yechiel Leiter, and Lebanon's Ambassador to the United States, Nada Hamadeh-Moawad, will participate.
