The cassation confirmed the seizure of property worth 1.4 billion rubles from the ex-LDPR deputy Napso

The cassation recognized as legitimate the appeal to the state income of the property of the former deputy of the State Duma from the LDPR faction Yuri Napso and his inner circle in the amount of 1.4 billion rubles. This was reported to Izvestia on April 9 by the court's press service.

In October 2025, a court in Sochi nationalized about 60 Napso properties. This decision has been appealed. In December, the ex-MP was put on the wanted list on suspicion of committing a criminal offense.

In April last year, the State Duma prematurely terminated the Napso's powers. The basis was the conclusion of the commission on parliamentary ethics, which found that the Napso does not perform its duties for 30 days or more, and also does not attend meetings.

In general, the former parliamentarian did not appear in the State Duma for about two years, and for more than 200 days — without a valid reason.
