The Social Fund announced the early issue of pensions for May

Some Russians will receive pensions ahead of schedule for May. This was announced on April 9 by the Social Fund's press service.

"Due to the upcoming May holidays, some Russian pensioners will receive their pension for May ahead of schedule," TASS quoted the text of the message.

The ministry stressed that the early payment will affect only citizens to whom pensions are transferred through the bank. By April 30, funds will be credited to those who receive payments from the first to the fourth day of the month.

In addition, it is specified that all types of pensions will be listed. Starting from May 5, payments through banks will begin according to the standard schedule.

Alexander Safonov, a professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, said on April 9 that only cosmonauts and test pilots in Russia can claim pension payments of about 500 thousand rubles. It is specified that the amount of payments is calculated based on the official salary and can range from 55 to 86% of the salary.
