The Philosophical Bridge to Kant Island was opened in Kaliningrad

The Philosophical Bridge across the Pregolya River to Kant Island was officially opened in Kaliningrad. Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko took part in the ceremony on April 9, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the formation of the Kaliningrad Region.

The new architectural object connected Victor Hugo Street and Peter the Great Embankment with the historical island of Immanuel Kant.

"Now it has become much easier and faster to get to Immanuel Kant Island from V. Hugo Street and Peter the Great Embankment. The city has been missing this bundle for a long time," Alexey Besprozvannykh, the governor of the region, said in his Telegram channel.
