An artificial intelligence workshop for children with special needs has been launched in Bratsk, Irkutsk region. It is located in the inclusive cluster "Nest". The project is supported by the Irkutsk branch of Baikal Bank.

The volunteers handed over seven laptops to the cluster. At the first lesson, the students were introduced to the neural network models of the Savings Bank. The staff showed how to create promts and get images based on a text description. Such lessons will be held every week.

According to Olga Amosova, head of the inclusive cluster, quoted by Irkit Media news agency, the new workshop will be the beginning of a major digital development. This should help in working with children with special needs.

Earlier, the <url> educational platform conducted a study of parents' expectations regarding children's digital skills in elementary school. Every second adult believes that additional training in working with neural networks should begin in elementary grades. Only 10% of children actually use artificial intelligence (AI), while 43% of parents would like minors to be able to work with it by the end of the fourth grade. At the same time, some adults turn to neural networks to help their child study secretly in order to maintain the habit of thinking independently.
