The Telegram app was allowed to disappear from the App Store due to negative reviews

On April 9, the Telegram application, an unofficial client of the Telegram messenger, admitted that the loss of the service from the App Store was due to negative user reviews.

"We have received a request from Apple and are already working on its solution in order to restore access to downloads on iOS as soon as possible," the messenger said in a Telegram message.

It is noted that after the installation waiting lists were introduced, the number of negative reviews increased, which could have been incorrectly perceived by the moderation of the App Store. Currently, Telega intends to send detailed explanations of the problem to the store in order to restore the download of the application.

On the same day, Izvestia found out that the Telegram app had disappeared from the App Store. Nevertheless, the app is still available in the Russian segment of Google Play on smartphones with the Android operating system.
