Henkel has registered the Persil and Schwarzkopf Brilliance trademarks in Russia.

The German concern Henkel has registered the trademarks Persil and Schwarzkopf Brilliance in Rospatent. The exclusive right to the brands will be valid until April 2035. Information about this follows from the data of the Rusprofile counterparty verification service, which was reviewed by Izvestia on April 9.

Henkel, a manufacturer of personal care products, cosmetics, cleaning and detergents, was founded in 1876. The company has created Universalwaschmittel, the first universal detergent made on the basis of silicate. The company received a significant boost in development in 1907 due to the launch of the Persil powder brand, named after two components — perborate and silicate.

The Schwarzkopf Brilliance hair care and coloring line, according to the company's website, "helps women discover their inner selves: bold confidence and fearless elegance."

In April 2022, CEO Carsten Nobel announced that the company was leaving the Russian market and exiting the Russian business. Henkel Rus LLC, representing the company's interests in Russia, was founded in 2008. In May 2023, it was renamed Lab Industries. In 2025, the revenue of Lab Industries LLC amounted to 94.3 billion rubles. Currently, the company has 11 factories in various regions of Russia, which produce products under the brands "Persil", "Fa", "Moment", "Pemolux" and "Laska".

On March 18, the Parisian fashion house Yves Saint Laurent registered the trademark of its famous logo in the Russian Federation. He applied for this action a year ago. The registration will expire in 2035. The organization will produce and sell perfumes and cosmetics.
