Evening Moscow, with the support of the Movement of the First, will host the third season of the First in the Media project

The leading Moscow media holding Vechernyaya Moskva has won a grant from the Russian movement of Children and Youth "Movement of the First" in the field of Media and communications. Career guidance project "The first in the media. I am a country!" is designed for teenagers who show great interest in a career in the media sphere. In 2026, more than 4,000 students from grades 6-11, college and lyceum students, and university students from different regions of Russia will expand their knowledge of media professions.

The mission of the project is to develop the participants' skills in working with neural networks as an integral tool of the modern media sphere. Within the framework of the project, a targeted training program will be implemented, which includes 8 master classes, a teleconference, professional excursions, as well as the creation of media portraits of native cities within the framework of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia announced by the President. The teenagers will meet with leading media experts and visit the editorial offices of various publications.

Working with young people is one of the priorities of the Vechernyaya Moskva media holding. For more than 12 years, the special project "The Press in Education" has been published, which covers more than 600 schools in Moscow. Excursions and master classes for schoolchildren from the capital are regularly held in Evening Moscow.

In 2023, the Evening Moscow media holding and the Movement of the First signed a cooperation agreement, which subsequently allowed the implementation of a number of information projects. In 2024-2025, with the grant support of the Firsts Movement, the editorial office successfully conducted educational projects for schoolchildren "Firsts in the Media" and "Firsts in the Media. Victory!". These projects have received positive feedback from schoolchildren and their parents from all over Russia.

The Russian Movement of Children and Youth was formed by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and its constituent assembly was held on July 20, 2022.

The Movement of the First received its name following the results of voting at the First Congress of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth in Moscow, which was held from December 18 to 20. The delegates also approved 12 areas of work and 11 common values, including "Life and dignity", "Patriotism", "Goodness and Justice", "Creative Work", "Strong family" and others. Among the main missions of the participants are "To be with Russia", "To be human", "To be together", "To be on the Move", "To be the first".

The movement's activities are aimed at creating opportunities for comprehensive development and self-realization, professional orientation of children, as well as leisure activities. You can join the Movement from the age of six. The participants may be minors enrolled in programs of primary general, basic general, secondary vocational and higher education.
