Journalist Carlson urged Washington to distance itself from Tel Aviv

Washington should distance itself from Tel Aviv due to its excessive aggressiveness and actions that contradict the interests of the United States. This was announced on April 9 by American journalist Tucker Carlson on the air of the YouTube channel.

"The United States needs, and hopefully first of all, when and if this war ends, to distance itself from Israel. <...> Because Israel is aggressively acting against our interests," the journalist said.

According to him, the United States should stop all support for Israel, including military and economic. Washington, in his opinion, should treat Tel Aviv the same as "any other country."

"This distancing must begin with the complete cessation of any assistance to Israel from the US government, military or economic. <...> We should treat them the same as any other country. As an ally, but with limitations, reservations and red lines," Carlson stressed.

He also noted that the current strategy of US-Israeli relations could lead to an escalation of the Iranian conflict and the possible use of nuclear weapons.

"We entered this war at the insistence of Israel. The war ended badly. Now we cannot get out of the war because of the behavior of the same country <...>. This leads to an Israeli nuclear strike on Iran. It's obvious. And it will be a historic global catastrophe," he said.
