"We have transferred more than 3,000 dead as a result of enemy attacks across the country. About 40% of the bodies could not be identified," he said in an interview with the Mizan news agency.
On the same day, the Ynet portal reported that 42 Israelis had also died after the introduction of Operation Lion's Roar against Iran. Thus, 22 of the dead died from rocket attacks.
