April 11 has been declared a day of mourning in Tuva on the occasion of the death of the first President of the Republic, Sherig-ool Oorzhak. This was announced on April 9 by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic.

"By decree of the Head of the Republic of Tuva, the day of farewell to the first President of Tuva has been declared a day of mourning in the region," follows from a post on the VKontakte social network.

It is specified that the farewell to Oorzhak will take place in Kyzyl, the civil funeral will take place from 09:00 to 11:00 a.m. local time (from 05:00 to 07:00 Moscow time) in the building of the National Musical and Drama Theater.
