The Central Bank reported an increase in purchases of foreign currency by individuals to 65 billion rubles in March

In March, individuals increased their net purchases of foreign currency by 78.68% compared to February, acquiring it by 65.2 billion rubles. This is evidenced by the materials published on April 8 on the website of the Bank of Russia.

As specified in the documents, in February this figure was 13.9 billion rubles. At the same time, March purchases were slightly below the level in March last year, as well as the monthly average for 2025, which amounted to 93 billion rubles.
