Rabies outbreaks were found in two villages in the Tyumen region

Rabies quarantine was introduced in two villages of the Tyumen region. Treatment of susceptible animals has been restricted in the territories.

According to the <url> news agency, quarantine has been in effect since April 7 in the village of Moskovsky and in the village of Uspenka, Tyumen Municipal District. The points within a radius of 500 m from the foci of the disease are considered to be unfavorable.

At the end of March, rabies quarantine was in effect in 50 settlements of the Tyumen region. Experts have not recorded a decrease in the incidence of the dangerous virus. The main source of the disease is wild carnivorous animals. In early April, restrictions were lifted in six districts.

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, rabies quarantine was introduced in two municipalities. A fox with signs of the disease was found in the area of the Sibiryak state farm in the Yemelyanovsky district. Two more quarantine zones were introduced in Norilsk.
