Alexey Kulesh, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, an experienced tourist, appreciated another version of the disappearance of the Usoltsev family, suggesting that they became victims of illegal gold miners.

"I am not ready to agree with this version due to the lack of necessary elements in the place where the Usoltsevs disappeared," Kulesh said in an interview with aif.ru on Wednesday, April 8th.

According to him, gold mining is carried out far from Kuturchin, including, possibly, illegally. He did not rule out the possibility of poachers, but with a caveat: according to him, we are not talking about "eliminating witnesses", since there is no such valuable animal in those places. At the same time, he admitted the possibility of an accidental shot that could lead to the death of people, noting that such a version should be considered. At the same time, Kulesh continues to adhere to the version of the accident.

Earlier that day, ex-rescuer and mountaineer Yuri Railko, who participated in the search, suggested that the Usoltsev family, who disappeared in the taiga of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, could have encountered illegal gold miners, "black" lumberjacks or poachers. He recalled that people had been missing in the area and had never been found. According to local media, in 2019, a man disappeared without a trace here. Railko added that during the last large-scale searches of the Usoltsevs, no traces of them were found, IA Regnum notes.

Daniil Batalov, the son of the missing Irina Usoltseva, expressed a desire to take part in a new search on April 7, writes RIAMO. He noted that during the first searches he walked for 14 hours a day, RT reports.

On April 5, the National Center for Assistance to Missing and Injured Children reported that professional metal detectors with metal separation function will be used in the search for the missing Usoltsev family in the Krasnoyarsk taiga. The center added that dogs were involved in the search, but their effectiveness is observed only at first. 360.ru .

Sergey, Irina and their five-year-old daughter Arina Usoltseva disappeared on September 28, 2025, while walking near Mount Pinocchio in the Kuturchinsky Belogorie. Together with them was a corgi named Lada. Since then, neither the family nor the dog have been found.
