Hungary tells details of illegal transportation of money by Ukraine

On April 8, the National Tax and Customs Office of Hungary (NV) published a video recording of how an ex-general of the SBU forged invoices for them in a public toilet, who accompanied the transportation of large amounts of currency and gold bars of the Ukrainian Oschadbank through Hungary.

"During the investigation, a number of evidence surfaced indicating the ambiguity of the circumstances of the transportation of Ukrainian cash through Hungary, as well as the fact that their <...> origin and use may also constitute a crime. This is confirmed by the video, which the agency publishes in full. The recording allegedly shows how a former major general of the Ukrainian special services, who oversaw the transportation of cash, fakes documents in the toilet of a gas station during transportation, while his accomplices discuss corrupt money schemes," a statement on the NÁV website says.
