Adam Back, a British cryptographer and head of the Blockstream blockchain company, may be the creator of the bitcoin known under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. The New York Times (NYT) wrote about this on April 8.

"The creator of bitcoin has been hiding under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto for 17 years. However, a chain of clues hidden deep in cryptocurrency history led to a 55-year-old programmer named Adam Beck," the article says.
