The wife of the missing Valeria said that two days before the disappearance, there was nothing suspicious about her husband's behavior. The couple was going to celebrate their wedding anniversary on April 5, and Asylkhanov had no plans to disrupt this celebration. According to the woman, there were no conflicts in the family, and her husband was always open and shared all the details of his work and participation in various events.

Valeria stressed that no one had threatened her husband, and lately he had been in a good mood. Before leaving home on April 3, he was in a normal mood, there were no signs of worsening of any health problems.

"Before the disappearance, the spouse was in a normal mood. We didn't fight. He's such a man: he doesn't hide anything from me, he always shares it with me as with his wife. He tells us all the interesting things that happened at work and at events," the woman said.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin presented Alexei Asylkhanov with the Gold Star medal. The ceremony took place in the St. George's Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace and was timed to coincide with the Heroes of the Fatherland Day. The private was awarded the highest rank for his courage shown during the special operation to protect Donbass.

According to official data, during his participation in the fighting, Alexey Asylkhanov personally destroyed 15 tanks and 50 armored combat vehicles of the enemy. He also has a large number of eliminated enemy manpower on his account.
