Earlier, the Iranian Embassy in South Africa ridiculed Zelensky after his address on the results of the UN Security Council meeting on the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. The diplomatic mission called the Ukrainian leader a clown, RT reports.

Jabarov noted that the two situations cannot be compared, since Russia, at the request of many countries, did not seek to block Ukraine's access to the Black Sea. He also pointed out that Zelensky is lying about the fact that Ukraine defended its economy because Russia "did not engage in it at full capacity."

"I think Mr. Zelensky must be in a very bad mood right now. Iran understands perfectly well what kind of political adventurer he is, how much he tried to harm the Iranian state. He tried to provide drones to some Gulf countries that were being attacked by Iran. And all this, of course, was not ignored by the Iranian side," the senator said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

He added that Zelensky is in a critical situation. The senator pointed out that the armories of Israel and the United States have been emptied, so Europe will not be able to purchase weapons for Ukraine.
