Nine people were killed and more than 20 injured in an Israeli attack on a busy cafe in the southern Lebanese city of Saida. Footage of the aftermath of the strike was provided to Izvestia on April 8 by Al Mayadeen TV channel.

Correspondent Jamal Ghorabi said that the city's establishment was crowded in the morning, but now there are fragments of the facade of the building and traces of blood in this place.

A local resident, a regular visitor to the cafe, noted that this establishment hosted a lot of guests, including internally displaced persons.

"This cafe welcomed all the people. Most of them are internally displaced persons. In general, when Israel cannot cope with resistance, it acts on the principle of "hitting civilians." That is, he always targets civilians," the man said.

A new Israeli airstrike on the southern suburbs of Beirut on April 6 killed five people and completely destroyed residential buildings. The Janah district in the Gobeiri municipality was attacked. As a result of the Israeli missile strikes, several buildings were completely destroyed, and cars turned into a pile of metal.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
