Fayzullin instructed to monitor preparations for the next heating season

Preparations for the next heating season must begin now. This was announced on April 8 by the head of the Russian Ministry of Construction, Irek Fayzullin, at a joint meeting of the board of the department and the State Council commission on Infrastructure for Life.

"It is already necessary to start preparations for the next heating season. It is important to ensure the formation of regulatory fuel reserves, timely repairs, and the implementation of measures to connect heating networks. I am instructing housing inspectors to continue monitoring the passage of the heating period and preparing for the next one," Fayzullin said.

The minister also noted that letters will be sent to the heads of some regions with a recommendation to make decisions on the decentralization of heat supply systems. He acknowledged that these measures are not easy and costly, but they are absolutely necessary.
