Over the past week, more than 4.4 thousand residents of the Murmansk region turned to doctors with acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). Virus circulation continues despite the warming.

About 40.7% of the cases are children. This is reported by the Bi-port news agency with reference to the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor. Children aged three to six years are mostly ill.

Non-influenza viruses and influenza A are circulating in the Murmansk Region. In addition, 23 cases of coronavirus infection have been reported.

According to the data for the end of March, the seasonal incidence of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza remained in Russia. It corresponded to the indicators of mid-October 2025.
