Iran will dictate the terms of peace to US President Donald Trump against the background of his agreement to a two-week truce with Iran. This opinion was expressed on April 8 by American journalist Jackson Hinkle.

"38 days of war, and Iran is in full control of the Strait of Hormuz. Future negotiations will be based on Iran's maximalist demands, and all US military bases in the region will be destroyed...", Hinkle wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter)
