In Dagestan, about 1,339 residential buildings remain flooded, as well as 90 sections of highways in eight settlements. This was announced on April 8 in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It is noted that 591 people, including 246 children, are currently in 16 temporary accommodation facilities. Psychologists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the Russian Emergencies Ministry also work in the PVR.
