North Korea allegedly fired an unidentified projectile in the direction of the Sea of Japan.This was reported on April 8 by the South Korean Yonhap news agency, citing the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

"North Korea fired at least one unidentified projectile towards the East Sea on Wednesday," the publication says.
