On April 8, the Iranian Security Council declared that Iran had won the conflict with the United States, insisting on Washington's acceptance of Tehran's settlement plan.
"The enemy in his dishonest, illegal and criminal war against the people of Iran has suffered an undoubted, historic and crushing defeat. <...> Iran has achieved a great victory and forced criminal America to adopt its 10—point plan," the Tasnim news agency quoted the Security Council as saying.
