The United States will have to maintain control over the Strait of Hormuz for the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI), as well as pay compensation, withdraw troops and lift sanctions. This was announced by the Iranian Security Council on April 8.

"Iran has achieved a great victory and forced criminal America to adopt its 10-point plan, in which the United States undertakes in principle: not to commit aggression, maintain Iran's control over the Strait of Hormuz, <...> lift all primary and secondary sanctions, <...> pay compensation to Iran, withdraw US combat forces from the region," — Tasnim news agency cites the statement of the Iranian Security Council in its Telegram channel.
