Four people were injured as a result of falling fragments of Iranian missiles

Four people, including a child, suffered moderate injuries as a result of rocket fragments falling on the house of one of the citizens. This was announced on April 8 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Qatar on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The incident occurred as a result of the interception of Iranian missiles by Qatari air defense systems, as a result of which fragments hit the house of a local resident in the Muraih area.

"The relevant authorities continue their work in accordance with the approved response plans, ensuring prompt response to incidents, containing their consequences and improving public safety," the publication says.

Specialized teams provided immediate medical assistance to the injured. Minor material damage was recorded at the accident site.

On April 1, the Office of Maritime Trade Operations of Great Britain (UKMTO) transmitted information according to which an unknown projectile hit the left side of a tanker near the capital of Qatar. It was noted that the incident occurred 17 nautical miles (31.4 km) north of Doha.
