Flight restrictions have been introduced at Cheboksary, Izhevsk and Kirov airports.
Three more Russian cities have introduced temporary restrictions on aircraft flights: Cheboksary, Izhevsk and Kirov. This was announced on April 7 by the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency in the MAX messenger.
Cheboksary Airport <...> Izhevsk <...> Kirov. Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the reception and release of aircraft," the press service said in a statement.
It clarifies that the measures are necessary to ensure security.
Shortly before that, restrictions were imposed on the airways of Bugulma, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Samara and Ulyanovsk. Prior to that, flights were restricted at Penza and Saratov airports.
