White House press Secretary Carolyn Leavitt said on April 7 that US President Donald Trump had been informed of Pakistan's proposal to extend the deadline on Iran for another two weeks.

"The president has been informed of the proposal, and a response will be received," the Axios portal quoted her as saying.
