American B-52 bombers took off towards Iran from a base in the UK. This was reported on April 7 by India Today magazine, citing sources.
"Several B-52 aircraft were seen taking off from RAF Fairford, while others reportedly refueled and positioned themselves on the runway before takeoff. The first bomber is believed to have taken off about three hours ago," the publication says.
