The teacher of Russian language and literature who died after being attacked by a student at school No. 5 in Dobryanka, Perm Krai, was a second-generation teacher. About this aif.ru local residents told us on Tuesday, April 7.
They remember her as a kind and attentive person, whom both students and parents spoke positively about.
"A boy I know recently graduated from school, he spoke very well about Olesya Petrovna, and knowing her mother, who is also a teacher, she could not be a bad person," said Natalia, a local resident.
According to residents, Olesya Petrovna had no conflicts with her students and was respected by the staff. In 2018, she became the winner of the district stage of the Teacher of the Year competition in the Primary and High School Teacher category. It is known that her mother also worked as a teacher, and Olesya herself has an adult daughter. According to Regnum news agency, the deceased worked at the school for almost 30 years.
The attack took place on the morning of April 7 on the porch of the school: a ninth-grader with a knife attacked a teacher who was his homeroom teacher. The victim was hospitalized, the website writes. kp.ru . Later, the head of the region, Dmitry Makhonin, said that the teacher who was attacked by the student died from her injuries. The teenager was detained, the motives of the incident are being established, writes RT. According to "Moscow 24", the attacker is 17 years old, he repeatedly stayed for a second year and was registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The criminal case of a schoolboy's attack on a teacher in the Perm Region has been upgraded to articles on murder and negligence. Investigators and psychologists are working with the students after the incident, RIAMO notes.
