The Wireless festival in London was canceled after the authorities decided to ban rapper Kanye West (also known as Ye) from entering the country, announced by the headliner of the event. This was reported on April 7 by The Guardian newspaper, citing a statement from the organizers of the event.

"The Ministry of the Interior has revoked Ye's electronic visa, banning him from entering the United Kingdom. As a result, the Wireless festival is canceled, and all ticket holders will receive a refund," the message says.

Wireless organizers noted that during the preparation for the festival, West's candidacy was agreed upon by "numerous interested parties" and at that time no concerns were expressed.

On April 7, Britain banned Kanye West from entering the country to participate in the Wireless Festival amid outrage over his anti-Semitic remarks. He was supposed to come to the country for the first time in 11 years. British Health Minister Wes Streeting said he was "shocked" by the decision to invite West to the performance, and called the organizers' decision a mistake. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer added that the rapper "should never have been invited to perform" on Wireless.

Last November, it was reported that West met with Israeli-Moroccan Orthodox Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto in New York to "make amends" to the Jewish people for his anti-Semitic remarks. The rapper, who realized his mistake, had planned a meeting with the rabbi in advance. Citing his problems, in particular his bipolar disorder, which forces him to take words and ideas "to the extreme," he asked Pinto for permission to visit him.

On July 2, Australian Immigration Minister Tony Burke announced the cancellation of Kanye West's visa for his track titled Heil Hitler. According to Burke, there were a lot of offensive words in this song, which attracted the attention of representatives of his department.
