The Space with Knowledge marathon was held on April 7 at the Valentina Tereshkova National Space Center. This is a key educational event of the first Space Week in the history of Russia, which takes place from April 6 to 12. A decree on the annual Space Week was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, and this year's week is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the first human spaceflight.

"Today, our marathon together with the Znanie Society opens the doors to a world where everyone can find their own space. Interesting, technological, inspiring. <...> When we talk about astronautics, we don't just mean technology. We are talking about how humanity has learned to go beyond the limits of what is possible," said Dmitry Bakanov, CEO of Roscosmos State Corporation.

"We were the first to launch an Earth satellite, the first to send a human into space, and our cosmonaut was the first to go into outer space. All these feats have forever cemented our country's title as a pioneer in space exploration. Today we are already going into space confidently, without fear, but this would be impossible without the development of science, without knowledge," added Maxim Dreval, Director General of the Russian Society Znanie.

The communication partner of the Space Week and the Russian Space Forum was the MAER media holding. More than 25 million people will see information about the achievements of the space industry on street media facades.

The educational marathon brought together astronauts, scientists, industry experts, media representatives and international speakers. We discussed the future of the space industry and its impact on technology and everyday life. Konstantin Mayor, the owner and CEO of the media holding, told students at the Space with Knowledge marathon how to make people fall in love with space and attract new personnel to the industry using the example of the Roscosmos project and the MAYER.

"The space industry is always about the future, but the future does not arise by itself, it is created by people. And it depends on today's schoolchildren and students, on you, what space will be like for us tomorrow. And here all professions and specialties are in demand. One of the winners of the Artmasters championship of creative professions is undergoing an internship at the MAER media holding and made an amazing video for Space Week — through the window of the ISS we see the Earth from a height of 400 km. Over the 2 years of cooperation with Roscosmos, such videos, messages from the ISS and space launches that have already become familiar have been seen over 2 billion times on media facades. This is a huge audience of 27 million people, for whom space has ceased to be something abstract," Konstantin Mayor said during his speech.

In total, more than 1,000 people visited the Roscosmos headquarters.
