Changan announced the price of the new generation Uni-S crossover
Changan has announced the prices of the new generation Uni-S crossover for the Russian market. The model is offered in two trim levels at a price of 2.98 million and 3.15 million rubles, respectively, the Izvestia correspondent reports on April 7 from the presentation of the model in Moscow. The start of sales has been announced.
The new Changan Uni-S is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine paired with a seven-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission. In the initial version, the crossover has front-wheel drive, with a power of 157 hp. In the more expensive configuration, the model is equipped with an all-wheel drive system from BorgWarner, and the engine produces 181 hp. The previous generation Uni-S model has only front-wheel drive.
The Changan Uni-S's equipment list includes a digital dashboard (10.25 inches), a 14.6-inch media system screen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging for a 15-watt smartphone, as well as built-in Yandex online services. The front seats are equipped with electric controls, heating and ventilation, and a welcome seat with automatic seat displacement is also provided.
There is also an all-round viewing system, a built-in DVR with four cameras, an electric tailgate with contactless access, a panoramic roof with a sunroof, as well as atmospheric interior lighting. A set of assistants is responsible for safety, including adaptive cruise control, emergency braking and lane keeping systems. The crossover also received an expanded winter package, which includes heated steering wheels, heated front and rear seats, heated windshield, mirrors, and windshield washer nozzles.
Earlier, on March 31, Changan announced the Russian launch of sales of the new seven-seat crossover Changan CS75 Pro. It will be offered with an 181 hp (280 Nm) Blue Core family engine. The car has a three-row layout, the second row seats are equipped with longitudinal adjustment.
