Plans to recruit contract military personnel for the Russian army are being implemented and are even ahead of schedule, with special attention being paid to the troops of unmanned systems. This was stated on April 7 by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov during a visit to the military Commissariat and the Moscow Unified Conscription Center together with the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"I can only say that it is ahead of schedule. We are fulfilling all the plans, forming new units and divisions. The emphasis is on training, on the coordination of units. This is especially true for troops of unmanned systems," the Defense minister said.

Belousov praised the organization of the work of the Commissariat and the Unified Conscription Center, noting how well they are equipped with high-tech facilities.

"The main advantage here is that almost everything, or much, is automated and digitized. Routing has been clearly thought out, which makes it convenient for a person to go through all the necessary procedures," said the head of the military department.

He added that, based on Moscow's experience, 47 regions of the country have already expressed a desire to navigate where they want to create similar military administrative institutions.
