Snow and rain are expected in Moscow on Wednesday, April 8, with a temporary snow cover lasting about a day. This was announced to Izvestia on April 7 by Anatoly Tsygankov, head of the Crisis Management Department at the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation.

"An atmospheric front is coming today, which will bring rain and a further drop in temperature," the forecaster said.

According to him, on Wednesday night the temperature will be 0 ...+2 degrees, sometimes up to -1 degrees. Rain may turn to snow.

The coldest days of the week will be Thursday and Friday: at night it is expected from 0 to -4 degrees, in the afternoon +2 ...+4 degrees. 4-6 cm of snow is possible these days, but not everywhere. The cold snap will last until the night of April 11, and on Saturday it will warm up to +6...+11 degrees in the afternoon, on Sunday — up to +10 ...+15 degrees. The fallen snow will melt completely.

On Tuesday, April 7, cloudy weather is expected in the capital region, with light rain, moderate in the east of the region. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center. The air temperature in Moscow will range from +9 to +11 degrees during the day, and drop to +1 at night. In the Moscow region it will be from +6 to +11 degrees during the day, at night the temperature may drop to -2.
