Izvestia took the first place in the updated media rating of the Zen platform. This was announced by the company on April 7.

The updated ranking includes real-time session data and a new metric for the exclusive audience. Realtime statistics allow you to track the dynamics for the current day and the last seven days with hourly updates. The calculation includes depersonalized views of publications uploaded via RSS feed or manually, as well as all traffic within the platform.

The new tool is available to federal publications and media from 12 major regions of Russia, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar and Novosibirsk. It gives editors the opportunity to quickly assess coverage, compare metrics with competitors, and adjust their content strategy without waiting for the final statistics for the month.

In addition, an exclusive audience metric based on Mediascope data has been added to the ratings. It reflects the number of users who interact with media content in Zen, but do not visit the publication's website. Each user is counted once, regardless of the device and the format of content consumption.

In an interview with Izvestia, the company noted that such tools allow editors to more accurately assess the effectiveness of working with the platform and identify growth potential beyond their own platforms.

By the end of 2025, Izvestia entered the top five most widely read media on the Zen news platform. According to Mediascope, RIA Novosti took the first place in terms of audience, followed by RBC, Life.ru , Russia Today and Izvestia.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
