GOROD48 writes that the incident occurred on September 15, 2025 in a workshop run by the accused. The electrician's foot fell into the technological cutout of the clamp crane. He died from an electric shock.

The investigation found that the accused had been criminally negligent. He was responsible for the safe condition of the crane, which was located on his site, but did not install locking devices for technological cutouts where there were live equipment elements. He now faces up to 5 years in prison.

In mid-March, it was reported that seven people were injured when an overpass collapsed at an aircraft factory in Irkutsk. The incident occurred due to a gust of the aircraft engine.
