The Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee began checking after the disappearance of Hero of Russia Alexei Asylkhanov. This was announced on April 7 in the press service of the department.

"An inspection is underway," RIA Novosti quoted the agency as saying.

The Kemerovo Region Police also published an orientation list. It is noted that before the disappearance, Asylkhanov was dressed in all black, with a prosthetic right leg as a special feature.

His wife Valeria added that before his disappearance, Asylkhanov behaved as usual. On April 3, he went to work at the Yurginsky Technical College four hours later, but never got there.

"Before the disappearance, the spouse was in a normal mood. We didn't fight. He's such a man: he doesn't hide anything from me, he always shares it with me as with his wife. He tells us all the interesting things that happened at work and at events. He always warns you if he stays late somewhere," Valeria said in an interview with aif.ru
