Life.ru presents the interactive special project "Baikonur: Breaking the silence". His release is timed to coincide with Space Week.

"Baikonur: Breaking the Silence" is a 360—degree special project shot right at the cosmodrome. The viewer controls attention by himself: he can inspect the space around, zoom in on details, make out faces, see the work of engineers and hear live inter-noise without television distance and off-screen sterility. Here you can hear metal creaking, service commands sounding, machinery humming and tension building in the last minutes before the start.

The project is based on the launch of the Soyuz—2.1a launch vehicle, which sent a new crew to the International Space Station. There are scientific instruments, equipment and a software and hardware complex with a neural network on board. But this launch became special even before lifting off from the Ground: the rocket body was decorated with drawings of children undergoing treatment for cancer. Their dreams, hopes, and personal stories have also become part of this flight.

The project consists of six key points — from the last preparations to the moment of launch. This is the route that the crew takes a few hours before going into space, and the path that the viewer can take with them.
